Kindergarten students discover the
basic concepts in reading language arts, mathematics, and science
through hands-on experiences. Learning centers using manipulative
materials help to reinforce instruction in all subjects. The
Apple IIgs mini-lab near the kindergarten has space for 10 students
and can be a learning center, too. Please come in! |

Building on kindergarten
learning, primary grade students (grades 1-3) progress
in reading, language arts and mathematics. Activities introduce
concepts in science and social studies. Throughout the grades,
the Catholic educational setting values nurturing support, development
of self-esteem and concern for others. Open our door. |

In the intermediate grades, (4-6)
students begin to give special attention to reasoning, logical
thinking, writing, and research skills to help them become more
independent learners. The Christian tradition of social awareness
and personal responsibility receives special emphasis in the
middle grades. Look
in on us. |

Junior
high (grades 7 and 8) students have the experience
of working with four different teachers as instruction is partially
departmentalized. Work in each subject area continues to emphasize
reasoning and logical thinking as well as the writing and research
skills needed for success in high school. Opportunities to develop
leadership skills, to increase social awareness, and to give
service to the school and parish communities are provided. Welcome! |

All students participate
in the religious education program as part of the classroom
curriculum. Age appropriate activities emphasize the principles
of the Catholic faith and provide the experience of a Christian
community. Students plan and participate in liturgies and prayer
services during the school year. |
